BFA: Filmmaking (2008)
Minneapolis College of Art and Design, 2004-2008
Filmmaking studies included conceptualizing, writing and producing film and video shorts, collaborating with others on their film and video projects, lighting on location and in the studio, recording sound on location and in the recording studio, and directing actors, as well as editing video and designing/mixing soundtracks, and exporting/preparing finished projects for different applications. I also completed several courses in sound design and technique, photography, and illustration.

Graphic Designer/Illustrator
Design and illustrate advertisements for major newspaper publications, trade magazines, and billboards. Responsible for designing in-store displays and signage, and design and maintenance of website.

Assist customers with needs, questions, and problems. Operate cash register and answer phone calls. Responsible for stocking, pricing and maintaining retail merchandise.

Grip/Production Assistant
Assisted on several video shoots including internal corporate videos and television commercials; duties included set up, maintenance, and tear down of grip and electric gear; also assisted in post-production by logging and capturing footage, and duplicating DVD and VHS for archival and distribution.

Prepared and supervised studio for weekly college television show; duties included instructing camera operators, preparing show guests, and directing show hosts.
